About Me:
Tia is a typical loving, licky, squirmy little piggy girl Staffordshire Bull Terrier, 3-4 years old. Her Carer says: She’s so easy to work with, I’ve got her sitting on command though the duration can be a bit hit and miss especially if the ground is wet, bless her. She’s clicker trained in that she responds really well to it. I’ve used it for basic commands only, though I’m sure she’d jump through hoops if that’s what you wanted her to do.
She doesn’t pull on the lead and if she does accidentally go a bit fast for you she will respond to “wait” She’s still excitable when she gets a fuss, but any displays of mouthing can be stopped easily if I say “Ouch” Finally, aggression – what aggression?? If a dog (or cat) vocalises or rears up or lunges at her she will respond, but if the other animal shows respect & manners to her she will just trot on by or sit calmly without a flinch She so deserves her forever home.’
We are looking for an experienced home with older dog savvy children. She has previously lived with another dog but we would be looking for a bomproof dog and please note we will not rehome with another female bull breed. Please don’t dismiss Tia as “just another staffy” as she has so much to give and a smile to die for.
Some updates from Tia’s walker as this beautiful staffy girl needs a new home after too long in kennels.
“Tia is a typical loving, licky, squirmy little piggy girl, looking for a home. She was an absolute diamond today and what a fun little bundle she is too. She walked well on the lead, pretty much to heel and didn’t pull at all. I can also very happily report that she responds well to treats, so much so that I could let her off leash…and although she went hurtling off at 100 mph I had no problem with recall.”
All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family.
